My name is Shimi Ben Uzia, born in 1975, and I am a self-taught painter who lives and creates in Israel.

In my paintings I surrender to the illusions of the imagination and create surrealistic figures and different elements

that communicates from the mediator of my inner world

With the intention that my art had its own logic and a fusion of passion to create a unique art

And in the hope that my paintings will cause the viewer to take a moment and reflect on the work and that a thought and emotion will arise and not take the work for granted

I get the inspiration for art mainly from crisis experiences and passions that I go through in life

The materials I usually work with are oil paints which I place on canvas or board and the paintings are 100% original.

I developed the drawings and techniques myself, it was a very long process of many years, but in the end I was able to assemble my set of tools and create the art I always wanted
